LG’s new True Wireless headphones have a Whisper mode for privacy protection and a model that acts as a wireless transmitter housing.
LG Electronics Inc. is a Korean international electronics company located in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea. Affiliated to LG, the fourth-largest chaebol in South Korea, global sales in 2014 reached 55.91 billion US dollars. LG’s new true wireless headphones are about to launch in the market.
It, specifically, has a “whisper mode” that allows you to put the earbuds directly to your mouth when you speak and use it as a dedicated microphone.
If you don’t want to talk loudly to receive sound through the headphones in your ears, this is a great privacy feature.
LG True Wireless headphones Specs
There are three new earplugs in this series: FP5, FP8, and FP9, which have many of the same characteristics. They all have noise reduction function, each earphone has three microphones, and has IPX4 waterproof function, can withstand light splashes. The headphone hanger is 4.4 mm shorter than the previous LG model and has an improved driver and diaphragm.

According to LG, they can provide higher bass without compromising clarity. The spatial processing of the headset and the 3D sound field ensure a sound experience that surrounds the listener.
However, there are also personal characteristics. Exclusively for one or two earphones. The most exciting thing is to retain the FP9 headset. Its body can act as a wireless transmitter so that we can use the headset with non-Bluetooth devices.
From game consoles to car entertainment systems, there is no need for a separate Bluetooth adapter. It is similar to what we saw on Bowers and Wilkins PI7 headphones earlier this year.
Outstanding features that the new LG TWS offers
The company said that this technology could kill 99.9% of the bacteria on the headset-speaker network within five minutes, thereby reducing the risk of inner ear infections. Compared with the FP5, the battery life of these two earplugs has also been extended.
It can be used for up to 10 hours on a single charge and can be used for up to 24 hours when used with the charging box (the FP5 has a rated battery life of 8 hours and 22 hours, respectively).
Only the FP8 model supports wireless charging. LG’s new proper wireless earplugs will be available in “main markets” this month, and the price is to be determined.
