The new ‘Pokemon Go’ card game is going to have live options for players!
With these new card games, they expect the competition to be much more intense than before, where trainers have to think about their moves ahead of time strategically. The graphics are also being changed, which makes them look more realistic.
The New Pokemon Trading Card Game is now live!
It’s been a long time coming for “Pokemon TCG” players all around the world. Since the launch of Pokemon Black and White, players have been waiting for news on if or when “Pokemon TCG” was coming to North America.
At last, the wait is over. The newest version of “Pokemon TCG” is available for all players in North America.
The new Pokemon Trading Card Game looks to use the same line-up as before, but it also takes advantage of changes to graphics and gameplay mechanics.
Introduction To The New Pokemon Trading Card Game
The new Pokemon Trading Card game is an evolution of the previous version. The main change in this game mimics how Pokemon work in real life with their stats and movesets.
The new Pokemon TCG uses the latest, darker colors of Black and White and features Pokemon with different forms such as Darkrai-fellow, Groudon-zapdos, and Sylveon-shaymin. This is a brief introduction to some of these changes since it is a new game, and players may not know the differences.
Changes To The Pokemon TCG:
1. Individual Attacks:
This change includes adding more options to what attacks you can use in the game. This includes adding Misses through to Critical Hits. In the past, only having a “Hit” or “Miss” was enough. There will be a few ways to get a Critical Hit.
-Adding a +20 to your dice roll means you have a 20% chance of hitting a Critical.
-Trying for a critical on purpose with another specific move that does that particular effect, for example, using Double Team with Quick Attack, has a chance of getting you that critical hit.
2. Individual Stats:
In the past, there were only two different stats for your Pokemon: Attack and Defense. Now there are three: HP, Attack, and Defense, each with their values. For example, a Rattata would have “30” in HP, “20” in attack, and “20” in defense. Overall its stats are divided into 110 points.
3. Individual Effort Values (EVs):
Instead of having only one value of EVs to boost your Pokemon’s stats, there are now individual values you can give your Pokemon to increase their stats. For example, if you want to make a Pikachu stronger, you can put some effort into raising his speed by using certain cards to do so. Each card has its amount of EV points it gives, which will be added to the corresponding stat on the card itself.
The developers have said they are working towards the ultimate development and will soon roll out significant updates. Until then, players have to subside by the rules of the live-action.
