Some players are taking advantage of a new bug in Pokemon Unite, causing others to cease playing Ranked battles until it is patched.
In Pokemon Unite, Lucario has long been a popular All-Rounder, but a new glitch found after the recent patch has rendered one of Lucario’s Special Moves a one-shot kill.
Many people are taking advantage of it during Ranked gaming, eliminating opposing teams with only a few button hits.
This Lucario bug makes Unite so unplayable, amazed that there hasn’t been a B patch yet. Was super excited for Unite when it launched but after seeing how it’s been completely riddled with game breaking bugs since launch I don’t feel interested in it any more

Wrecking Ranked matches are not new in MOBA game
The MOBA game has a history of severe problems with certain characters, like the recent Blastoise Pokemon Unite malfunction, which also wrecked Ranked matches.
Climbing the rankings is the only way to get a significant number of Aeos Tickets after a season, which is why adventures involving characters like Blastoise and Lucario are so important.
Redditor xumei discovered the Lucario glitch in Pokemon Unite, which uses the Extreme Speed Special Move.
When another button is pressed at the exact moment, the bug is activated, resulting in significant damage to opposing players. Extreme Speed’s ability to recharge immediately if it strikes a new Pokemon each time it is used adds to the devastation of the glitch.
This implies that whole squads may be wiped out in a matter of seconds. Add in the simplicity with which the issue may be inadvertently activated, implying that people ignorant of the exploit can still utilize it regularly. It’s naturally irritating for those who compete in Ranked.
Is the developer aware of the Lucario flaw?
Unlike the Crustle Unite Move issue, which developer TiMi Studios has promised would be addressed in the next update, there has been no evidence that the developer is aware of the Lucario flaw, much less when it will be repaired.
As a result, gamers attempting to climb the Pokemon Unite Ranks must cease playing until the problem is resolved. While they may take their chances, they run the danger of losing Rank if they play against someone who is abusing the bug, whether intentionally or not.
Some fans have chastised TiMi Studios for not removing Lucario and Crustle from Ranked matches even though they are broken, pointing out that this is a standard practice in other MOBA games like Smite.
The long wait times for known problem fixes and the normal incidence of severe issues generate a lot of dissatisfaction in the community.
Since the game’s initial undisclosed patch notes, a lack of transparency from the MOBA’s creators has been criticized, and problems like the Pokemon Unite Lucario glitch highlight this issue once again.
TiMi Studios, on the other hand, has lately attempted to respond to community complaints more quickly.
The studio also seems to have heeded the complaints of Pokemon Unite’s pay-to-win model, pledging in a recent blog post to level the playing field with a new mode that does not depend on upgradable Held Items.
This suggests that if enough people request it, bugged characters may be removed from Ranked matches. Players will still have to deal with broken characters for the time being.
