The clip was shared on Wednesday from the official The Mandalorian Twitter account.
As fans are waiting anxiously for the next season, the new teaser raises the hype even more. Everyone knows how great the first installment was when it was premiered on Disney+.
The Mandalorian season 2 cast and plot details
The show will retain the original cast while adding several new characters this time. We will see Pedro Pascal, aka Mando. Joining him will be Gina Carano as Cara Dune and Carl Weather as Greef Karga.
And of course, Giancarlo Esposito will be returning as Moff Gideon to take revenge from Din Djarin.
The heart of The Mandalorian, Baby Yoda, will be there too, going on a new journey with Mando.
New additions include Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano. And Katee Sackhoff will play her role of Bo-Katan Kryze from The Clone Wars and Rebels series.
Timothy Olyphant is also there, playing Cobb Vanth, a former slave. The character was featured in the Star Wars: Aftermath anthology.
The plot will involve Mando taking Baby Yoda to his native place from where he actually is.
The baby will also keep showing his abilities to become a Master. And Djarin will keep him safe from Gideon, who won’t stop pursuing them now at any cost.
Moreover, Gideon’s Darksaber may also get its own story to be told in the upcoming season. The power of the weapon will be revealed in different episodes.
And Lothal might get introduced as the location for the War Rebels.
Season 3 already in the works at Disney+
It’s already been revealed that season three will roll out next year by April. The main material plot is ready.
Not only that, but Lucasfilm and Disney+ are in talks for a fourth installment as well.
The unprecedented success of this show was not expected on this level, especially. After the first season ended, Baby Yoda was a global sensation.
The famous quotes and dialogues are also immensely popular from various episodes. Fans loved the way Jon Favreau made it and presented it in a spectacular fashion.
Even the music of the show has become iconic now, thanks to Ludwig Goransson’s amazing composing. The die-hard lovers will expect the same kind of inspirational score in the next part as well.
