Qualcomm: Wear OS 3.0 will surpass your ability to be compatible with the Snapdragon Wear platform.
The Wear OS 3.0 update will be compatible with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear platform. According to XDA developers, a Qualcomm spokesperson said they are now coordinating with Google to launch a new Wear OS 3.0 update for the Snapdragon 4100 and 4100+.
This also includes Snapdragon Wear 3100, which will be included in the update. After another interview, a spokesperson for the chip manufacturer added that ease of use is the top priority. There is no official confirmation that the next Wear OS smartwatch will appear on a single platform.

In addition to this, some technical requirements have been released for users to update the platform to ensure the best user experience.
Compatible with older wearables
Last month, the Google I/O Conference introduced the new brand of the new version of Wear OS. In addition, Qualcomm will expand its partnership with South Korean technology giant Samsung in the future to develop high-tech smartwatches.
Some of the improvements brought about by the merger include longer battery life and improved portable device performance, to name a few.
The Google meeting also discussed possible support for YouTube Music and the integration of Fitbit into the newly developed system. According to digital trends, Google, “We were silent for a while regarding the upcoming update that we might be considering.”
Speaking of the traditional Wear OS version, Fossil said that the new Google Wear would not support its wearable devices. On the other hand, TicWatch GTH was launched in April last year, and it was announced that there is no specific update schedule.

“Mobvoi, a Google’s close partners, and has even obtained enterprise from them, but so far, there is no authorized testimony of when Google will be updated,” the spokesperson told 9to5Google.
It is still confusing why Fossil should use the old version for its smartwatch because it can benefit from the updates received in the new update. For some reason, the company may want to know whether some of their wearables really need to be upgraded, as this may be their main concern.
With this in mind, Fossil said that the new processor would be used in its new Wear smartwatch. They should have LTE connectivity, longer battery life, and optimized battery performance. It also applies to next-generation smartwatches, as the company is seeking more improvements to launch in its next-generation wearable device industry.
