Jessica Simpson accuses the singer of cheating
In her memoir, the singer accused Lachey of cheating several times.
“There were so many tabloid stories about Nick in strip clubs or talking to girls that I just didn’t know what to believe,” she wrote.
Simpson admitted that Lachey wasn’t the only one to blame for the fallout of their marriage.
And the singer also revealed that her ex-husband was jealous of her Jackass co-star, Johnny Knoxville.
“Contact with him was an addiction, but I needed to walk away,” she said.
The insider also said that Lachey wishes his ex-wife all the best. But the singer also hopes that Simpson would keep her mouth sealed about their previous marriage.
Simpson’s Netflix docuseries was announced earlier this month. However, the program won’t mostly focus on her relationship with Lachey.
Jessica Simpson’s sexual assault revelation
According to USA Today, Simpson will detail the sexual abuse that she experienced as a child, as well as her addiction to drugs and alcohol.
“I am humbled and honored to partner with Amazon Studios to bring my story and heart to life on the screen. And I know that parts of my life have been extraordinary, but I also know that many of my struggles are universal. I hope to continue the mission I set out to accomplish in writing Open Book – to inspire others to be entertained, moved, and empowered to walk through fear and come out on the other side even stronger,” she said in a statement.
