Nicole Kidman has, allegedly, given up on Botox.
According to Star, Nicole Kidman used to have a melty face that’s similar to the ghosts in Bly Manor because of her extreme Botox.
But after she was cast in The Undoing, the actress decided to stop getting the facial procedure.
This way, her face would look as natural as ever while portraying her role as a therapist.
“Her goal was a look that viewers could pull off themselves without having to go under the knife,” the source said.
Nicole Kidman face changed over the years
National Enquirer published a similar story about Kidman. The tabloid quoted an unnamed onlooker who, allegedly, noticed how much the actress’s appearance has changed over the years.
“Nicole’s look has changed so much since the beginning of her career and it hasn’t been for the better,” the source said.
Nicole Kidman no longer gets Botox
Another insider claimed that the actress’s makeup team has done a wonderful job in making her look youthful on-screen even without Botox.
“Nicole’s makeup team has done a wonderful job of making Nicole look great naturally and now she’s looking at a whole new philosophy and options that are miles apart from her more artificially minded peers. It just doesn’t appeal to her anymore, and that’s in no small part due to her beauty guru, who reinvented Nicole’s look for The Undoing and is a real star because of it,” the source said.
The insider said that it is the actress’s business what she wants to do to her face.
“But this recent change proves she’s a natural beauty who doesn’t need any enhancements to look great. Hopefully, she sticks to this new philosophy,” the source said.
The actress talks about the effects of Botox
Years ago, Nicole Kidman admitted that she tried Botox. However, the actress didn’t seem to like its effects.
“No surgery for me. I did try Botox, unfortunately, but I got out of it and now I can finally move my face again,” she said.
To help combat aging, Kidman wears sunscreen, and she also takes good care of herself. The actress doesn’t also smoke.
“And I am proud to say that,” Nicole Kidman said.
