Exactly a year ago, Woman’s Day published a dubious story on Nicole Kidman saying that the actress is struggling. And not being invited to her adopted children’s weddings just made things worse.
“It’s one thing knowing inside that your kids don’t want you, but to say it out loud is another. It’s like she’s finally admitting it and that hurts in a really big way. It will be devastating for Nicole, who has always held the hope that one day Bella and Connor would cut ties with the church,” the source said.
To make things worse, the source claimed that Kidman’s husband, Keith Urban hasn’t been much help. After all, the musician, allegedly, chose to spend time with his bandmates than Kidman.
“Nicole is seriously panicking that she’s losing Keith too. Her abandonment issues are out of control, but perhaps understandably. She’s feeling really insecure about what’s happening to her family. She knows there’s little she can do to get Connor and Isabella back but now she’s clinging on for dear life to Keith and their kids and it’s a little suffocating,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that the final straw that made Nicole Kidman hit rock bottom was the reviews she received for Goldfinch.
“Nicole is not in a good place. Her emotions are on a major rollercoaster ride. What she needs is to be with her family – including Keith,” the source concluded.
However, Gossip Cop immediately debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that they are untrue. Kidman didn’t hit rock bottom last year. And it is also untrue that she has abandonment issues.
Kidman and Urban aren’t also having problems in their marriage. And it’s unlikely for the musician to not support his wife whenever she’s feeling down.
In fact, the American Idol judge recently gushed over his wife on the Armchair Expert podcast.
“She’s the one that I was searching for my whole life, and everything not only changed but had to change in me if I was gonna go that road,” he said.
Two years ago, Kidman also gushed over her husband during her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes.
“Keith Urban, when my cheek is against yours everything melts away, and that is love. It’s true. I love you so much,” Nicole Kidman said.
