Nicole Kidman has, allegedly, decided to quit acting for good after she realized that she hasn’t had time for Keith Urban and their kids.
Last year, Globe published the dubious claims about Nicole Kidman and her family. A source told the tabloid that the only way Kidman and Urban’s marriage can be saved is if she focuses on it completely.

The insider also claimed to know details from an alleged fight that Kidman and Urban had while they were at Monaco’s Global Ocean Gala last year. They said that everyone at the event was aware that there was tension between the couple.
Then the tabloid said that Kidman won’t be quitting acting for good. Rather, she would just take a break from the industry for a year so she could focus on her marriage.
Rumors debunked
But an entire year has passed and Gossip Cop debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that they’re not true. They also spoke with a rep for Kidman, who denied that the actress has plans to quit acting.
The rumor-debunking site also pointed out that if Kidman had plans to quit acting for a year, she shouldn’t be starring in any projects. But her limited series, The Undoing is set to premiere this month.
Nicole Kidman is in the industry for the long haul
Kidman has no plans to quit acting for good. But she admitted to Deadline that she thought about it 10 years ago.
“There was nothing in my family that suggested to be an actress, which is why I’ve always said it’s in my blood, I don’t know where it came from, how it appeared, but it’s like a pull and a calling, and as much as I’ve tried to move away from it and there have been times where I have and particularly after I gave birth to Sunday Rose I was like ‘I’m done, I’m going to live on this farm in Nashville and I’m done,’ and it’s like this slow thing that pulls me back and I love it,” she said.
Kidman also said that she’s reached a point in her life where she’s accepted that acting is what she’ll do for the rest of her life.
““I’ve now reached the point where I say ‘this is what I do, I’m incredibly grateful for the life and the journey it’s given me so far, I can’t believe I’m still here doing it like this,’ and it gives me enormous joy but it also puts me in a place of being able to communicate and be in the world and participate in the world and have a greater understanding of people in the world and I learn so much from it,” Nicole Kidman said.
