It’s been a while since Nintendo has given us a full Nintendo Direct. However, the good news is that the company is still giving us reveals here and there through their Nintendo Direct Mini.
During the past months, Nintendo has been focusing more on Nintendo Direct Mini – a more compact version of its standard directs. We’ve had a few these past months, and now, the company has scheduled another one coming today.
Partner Showcase scheduled
Nintendo has just announced that a new small Nintendo Direct will be streamed this day on Sept. 17 at 16:00 CEST. Like previous Minis, this one will be a partner showcase featuring games from Nintendo’s publishing partners. That isn’t to say that there won’t be big reveals though.
Tune in 17/09 at 16:00 CEST for a livestreamed #NintendoDirectMini Partner Showcase, featuring information on upcoming Nintendo Switch titles exclusively from our publishing partners.

During the previous partner showcases, Nintendo has revealed some amazing titles already. This includes the remaster of Shin Megami Tensei III as well as the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei V.
What fans want to see
In terms of what fans want to see from the partner showcase, the list is endless. There haven’t been a few rumors lately, so fans are guessing that there will be some new major reveals during this Nintendo Direct stream.
The game that fans truly want to see during this Nintendo Direct Mini has to be the new Monster Hunter that Capcom is working on. According to some industry insiders, Capcom is already working on a Nintendo Switch Monster Hunter.
As per the reports, the new game is being made with a Switch compatible version of the new RE engine. If Nintendo were to reveal the game during this coming Nintendo Direct, then there will be some major hype coming from fans. The last Switch Monster Hunter game was Monster Hunter Generations, which is an enhanced version of a 3DS game.
Aside from Monster Hunter, another possible reveal could be the Mass Effect Trilogy collection. Just recently, the game was found on a retailer’s website. It’s also coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
There are also other titles that we could be getting updates from. One interesting game that everyone is hyped for is Hollow Knight Silksong, a follow-up to Team Cherry’s popular Metroidvania.
This upcoming Nintendo Direct Mini might be a big one considering the other rumored games which are yet to be revealed. Hopefully, we finally get a glimpse of some big titles in the upcoming stream.
