The key camera details of the Nokia 6.3 have also been leaked ahead of its purported Q3 2020 announcement.
We may still be mid-way the second quarter of 2020, but HMD Global is now hyping up the release of the Nokia 6.3 like it’s going to be released next week.
A barrage of crucial developments surrounding the phone is now released in the wild, too ahead of its rumored unveiling during the third quarter of this year.
Snapdragon 730 SoC and quad-rear cams
At the helm of these speculations is the intention of the Finnish company to use the Snapdragon 730 chipset. Previously, it was tipped that the phone could be running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 or Snapdragon 675 SoCs.
The tipster that released this crucial hardware detail in the rumor mill is confirmed to have already seen a Nokia 6.3 prototype.
Meanwhile, the same source builds on previous rumors indicating that the HMD Global could be including a quad-rear camera setup. Accordingly, the Nokia 6.3 will arrive with a 24MP primary rear-facing sensor, alongside a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a two 2MP macro and depth sensors. The setup is set to be backed by ZEISS branding.
In the selfie department, it has long been speculated that the Nokia 6.3 could arrive with a 16MP front-facing snapper.
Also, the company could be integrating the Nokia 6.3’s fingerprint sensor within its power button. The phone is also tipped to be developed with a compact size that can be sided with just a single hand.
The source, however, stated that the said prototype could be the 4G version of the Nokia 7.3.
Other rumored specifications
The Nokia 6.3 is also pegged to arrive with a PureDsiplay, which is already seen on the other Nokia smartphones lately. The phone is likewise speculated to feature a waterdrop notch.
The phone is believed to pack a 6.2-inch FHD+ display, with an aspect ratio of 20:9. A USB Type-C port and a 4,000mAh are also in the mix.
HMD Global gears up in 2020
Alongside the much-talked-about Nokia 6.3, HMD Global is also heavily rumored to be working on a slew of upcoming smartphones. These include the Nokia 2.4, Nokia 3.3, Nokia 7.3 5G, and the flagship Nokia 9.3 PureView.
The Nokia 6.3 is set to succeed the Nokia 6.2, which was released in October 2019. The phone features vital specs such as Snapdragon 636 chip, HDR10, rear triple cams, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
