This month felt rather stale for gamers as there weren’t a lot of releases this month. However, the October game releases are much better, and players should definitely ready their wallets for what’s to come.
September didn’t have a lot of notable game releases. However, the October game releases are far better, and players will probably have to spend wisely. Here are some notable titles launching next month.
‘Star Wars: Squadrons’ – Oct. 2
Fans of the Star Wars franchise might want to get Star Wars Squadron on Oct. 2. Unlike previous games from the franchise, this entry focuses more on space battles using ships from the Galactic Empire and the New Republic.
Players will be able to unlock cosmetics for their pilots and ship. The ships include iconic Star Wars ships like the X-Wing and TIE Fighter. Players should expect intense dog fights in space.
‘Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time’ – Oct. 2
The fourth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series is set to launch in October for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will feature five playable characters, including Crash, Coco, Dr. Cortex, Dingodile, and Tawna. Players should expect this fun platformer to be another amazing entry in the series.
The game will feature optional microtransactions as well, and fans weren’t happy with this odd structure.
‘Amnesia: Rebirth’ – Oct. 20
The long-awaited direct sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent is set to launch this October as well. Based on the trailer, the game will bring in the same amount of scares and surprises for players. Oddly enough, the trailer features a ton of places with a ton of lighting, which is not usual for a horror game.
‘Watch Dogs: Legion’ – Oct. 29
Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs: Legion will launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Oct. 29. The game will feature a ton of playable characters from the secret organization called DeadSec. Each of the characters will have their own sets of abilities, and it will be up to the players to recruit more members to the group.
Even previous Watch Dogs protagonist Aiden Pearce is part of the cast of characters.
These October game releases are just the tip of the iceberg. It’s going to be a major challenge for players to save up next month. November is an even bigger month as it will see the release of the next generation, as well as other amazing titles such as Cyberpunk 2077.
