Open source public chain project OKExChain has chosen panda-themed and Chinese style decentralized exchange (DEX) to be one of the 20 projects that will enter phase two of its Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecological construction, signaling its support for the BaoSwap franchise under Binance Smart Chain.
The move comes as a surprise to some pundits, as Binance Smart Chain has gained notoriety in the crypto market for being home to both scams and rug-pull projects that leave investors losing liquidity.
OKExChain initiated a three-phase EVM ecological construction for their mainnet launch in an attempt to fuel innovations that are inspired despite the crypto space falling into a bear market recently. As it would appear, it is taking with it a Binance-hosted project in PandaSwap.
What is PandaSwap?
As a decentralized Chinese DEX built on OKExChain, PandaSwap allows users to enjoy the freedom of engaging in genuine decentralized finance (DeFi) as well as their yield farming and Automated Market Maker (AMM) protocol.
It features its own governance token, called PND, making it 100% community-run while also boasting sustainability, deflationary tokenomics as it ensures an increase in value over time as PND becomes rarer.
While PandaSwap private sale has already passed, there’s a $150,000 allocation for its Initial Desk Offering and Initial Exchange Offering, allowing investors, crypto enthusiasts, and interested parties to dive into the project.
The OKExChain event
OKExChain’s mainnet EVM ecological construction has three phases with only the most popular projects being invited at its start.
The first phase started last May 10 and lasted until May 20 where projects like Chainlink and SushiSWap were invited for the launch. Phase 2 started last May 21 where the chain node was called to vote on which projects will be deployed in the near future, with the final phase becoming the deployment stage where every project that made it after the second phase will be deployed on the chain.
