‘One Piece’ Chapter 1000 to feature more about Shanks

After over 20 years, Eiichiro Oda is about to drop One Piece Chapter 1000. This massive milestone deserves a big celebration that may feature a surprising return and revelations.

Fans are expecting to see an epic One Piece Chapter 1000. Oda may not let this chapter slide without dropping something big that will makes fans fall from their seats.

The coming of the red-haired Shanks

According to BlockToro, there are theories One Piece Chapter 1000 will reveal the real meaning behind the Will of D. It may also feature some flashbacks of the God Valley and unveil things about Rocks D Xebec, among others.

However, Oda himself has hinted at the coming of Shanks. In a special message at the recent Jump Festa 2021, the manga artist teased this red-haired character’s arrival.

Oda talked about how unique One Piece Chapter 1000 would be and asked everyone to stay safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, he didn’t give anything about the special episode’s storyline but left a cryptic question.

“As new information goes, I wonder if he’s soon going to move..?,” he asked. “The Red-haired Man…!!”

Clearly, Oda was talking about Shanks and his possible return to the manga.

“According to Eiichiro Oda, it was announced at Jump Festa that in 2021, Shanks would finally begin to move and take action!” Twitter user All Anime Vibes tweeted. “One Piece fans everywhere have been waiting for this moment for so long!”

The milestone chapter’s possible plotline

There are theories that One Piece Chapter 1000 will show Shanks’ origin and what makes him powerful.

He is one of the most respected personalities among all the Pirates and even the World Government.

There are claims that Shanks is a Celestial Dragon or the son of Rocks D Xebecs. However, nothing has been confirmed yet, but it may be revealed in the milestone chapter.

So, fans have to wait and see if there will be a big reveal about Shanks as he is about to be “on the move soon.”

The much-awaited chapter’s release date

Sadly, fans have to wait a little longer to see One Piece Chapter 1000, per Devdiscourse. The much-awaited installment will not be out this week, as Oda takes a break after Chapter 999’s release.

Knowing Oda has his own family, he wants to go on a break to celebrate the holidays with them.

Instead, fans are about to see the release of One Piece Chapter 1000 on Sunday, January 3, 2021.
