The Great Pirate Era is about to begin as Pirate King Gol D. Roger is about to meet his demise. One Piece Episode 970 will be heartbreaking as everything is about to go downward spiral.
The Roger Pirates’ will be breaking up, and Oden will be returning to Wano. Things will also be getting worse as Orochi will take over the place.
According to BlockToro, Fans will also see Kaido here, though only in Oden’s flashback. From here, everything will go downhill.
In One Piece Episode 970 preview, Toki tells Oden about what is happening in Wano. Orochi has successfully taken the Kingdom over, thanks to Kaido’s help.
Oden does his best to go to the Orochi castle as fast as he can. Roger, on the other hand, is on his way to his execution in Loguetown.
Roger is now ready to die and even smiling when Oden suddenly swings his swords at Orochi. He is furious, but things get weirder when he acts like a fool at the end of the clip.
One Piece Episode 969 is titled “To the Land of Wano, The Roger Pirates Disband.” Oden recently joined the Roger Pirates to sail across the New World as they all looked for the Road Ponegliffs.
This thing held the location of the Last Island. Roger tried his best to hide his sickness while he let Shanks and Buggy go to the nearby islands since the latter was sick.
After a few weeks, news emerged that Roger already conquered the sea, and people started praising his accomplishments.
Roger then became the King of Pirates, and Whitebeard couldn’t help but smile for his new title. His pirates started celebrating after reaching a huge goal.
Elsewhere, Oden talked to Rayleigh about the Last Island, unable to hide his excitement. Roger then joined them and said he felt the same way, OtakuKart News noted.
Rayleigh then asked if Roger could still recall everything he told him when they first met.
“Turn the world upside down,” Roger vividly recalled Rayleigh’s words back then.
Their adventure and story will continue when One Piece Episode 970 drops on Sunday, April 18, at 9:30 a.m. Fans can see it on official sources, like Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Netflix.
