Almost a year after the second season ended, fans are now waiting for One Punch Man Season 3. The studio behind the animated series remains mum about the next installment, but viewers are all hopeful for Saitama’s return.
Details about One Punch Man Season 3 are under lock and key. This only gives fans the chance to make their own theories and assumptions, not losing hope that the show will continue.
An intense battle, action-packed episodes, and more
Just like the previous two seasons, the new installment is expected to be full of action-packed episodes. There may be more fighting scenes, although fans may not often see Genos around.
According to Dev Discourse, the Heroes Association may be planning to go against its enemy, preparing to attack its monster counterpart and invade the villain’s headquarters. From here, a series of face-to-face fights may happen.
It may involve the S-Class heroes, like Zombieman, Atomic Samurai, and Flashy Flash, who may go against the monstrous creatures of Monster Association. Of course, One Punch Man Season 3 may continue to feature Saitama as its main protagonist.
However, the new arc may mostly feature Garou. Fans may finally see his other side apart from being a human-monster character. Also, his human side may be revealed.
Pop Culture Times added that Garou might go through a different transition. Here, fans may also witness how he will go from a Saitama to a Pastiche, which is the opposite of Saitama.

The new season’s possible release date
Details about One Punch Man Season 3’s release date remain unknown. However, rumors have it that it may be out later this year.
But, as the COVID-19 pandemic puts a stop to all the movie and TV productions, it may take a long while before fans finally see Saitama back to the small screen. The coronavirus outbreaks’ effect in the industry is, reportedly, incredibly worst.
Dev Discourse noted that the financial loss is hard to understand. Hence, it may take a long while before it can finally recover. So, a 2020 release date is maybe impossible.
Anyhow, fans should cling on the fact that One Punch Man Season 3 is not canceled, although it has yet to be renewed as well. It is also good to note that there is a four-year gap between Season 1 and Season 2. So, there may be a long wait for the third season’s release.
