The OnePlus 8T, coming sometime next week, will allegedly be bigger, taller, and wider than the OnePlus 8, according to a tipster.
OnePlus has so far had a strong year this year. Despite not being able to fully launch its products in their usual way, the reception for its products has been astounding. At first, the OnePlus 8 Pro drew some flak for not being a flagship killer anymore. However, OnePlus immediately saved its face when it released the OnePlus Nord.
The cheaper alternative is the company’s formal announcement that it is going into the thick of the fight against the likes of Apple and Samsung. Its encore performance will soon be unveiled. During the event, OnePlus is expected to announce the OnePlus 8T alongside some other OnePlus designed devices.
OnePlus 8T to be the company’s most powerful device
The OnePlus 8T is the company’s follow-up device to the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro. Recent leaks suggest that instead of having a curved display, the OnePlus 8T will just have an elegant flat-screen display.
As a result, the form factor of the newer version will be slightly bigger in terms of size and length. The OnePlus 8 only measured 160.2 x 72.9 x 8mm. On the other hand, the OnePlus 8T will allegedly measure up to 162.8 x 75.5 x 8.4mm. This might not seem like a huge size difference. However, the overall additional dimension on the phone will be noticeable when grasped.

The newest version of the OnePlus 8 line up, as mentioned, will be the company’s most powerful version as of yet. It will most definitely feature the latest Snapdragon 865+. As such, it will also be 5G capable. The OnePlus 8T will have an 8GB and a 12GB variant giving its users options as to how much processing power they need from their handsets.
The camera sensors on the back will be a four-camera lens array. The biggest one will be a 48-megapixel main camera. Alongside it will be a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro unit, and a 2-megapixel portrait camera.
Other devices that will launch with the main phone
OnePlus, just like its competitors, is pushing for a complete OnePlus user system. As such, it will reportedly release other companion devices to the OnePlus 8T. Topping the list will be the company’s newest device, the OnePlus Watch.
The company is also expected to release the OnePlus Budz Z and a company-labeled power bank. Moreover, recent rumors also suggest that another Nord phone is on the way. However, it seems more likely that OnePlus will put off the release of the budget phone for another time to drive more attention to the OnePlus 8T.
