There were many rumors about OnePlus working on newer and cheaper versions of the recently launched OnePlus Nord. Recently, the brand confirmed the speculations with the launch of its latest smartphones.
The smartphones are known as OnePlus Nord N10 5G and the OnePlus Nord N100. OnePlus teased the two new smartphones from its official Instagram handles, and here is all that we know so far about the OnePlus’ latest phone.
This is OnePlus Nord N10 5G.
Much like the original Nord, it has the smoothness of a 90 Hz display and the speed of Warp Charge 30T. It even packs the same 5G capabilities.

OnePlus Nord N10 5G specifications
One of the two announced smartphones is the Nord N10 5G, the closest competitor to the recently launched OnePlus Nord. As highlighted in the name, it is a 5G-capable smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690.
The phone comes in a similar design language as the recently launched 8T. The significant difference is the fingerprint sensor on the back of the device.
Moreover, the said smartphone features a 6.49-inch FHD+ LCD, which is a first since the OnePlus 2 in 2015. The case means that an in-display fingerprint sensor was not possible; hence, the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone still features the 90 Hz refresh rate, according to a report by GSM Arena.
Unlike the original OnePlus Nord, the new phone features dual speakers and even a 3.5mm audio jack, making its comeback on the brand’s devices after the OnePlus 6.
The new phone features a slightly bigger battery of 4,300 mAh with the same 30T Warp charging speed.
The rear camera panel still features four cameras, but the selfie shooter loses the ultra-wide sensor.
One of the shocking cutbacks in the Nord N10 would be the Alert Slider’s deduction at the side of the phone, which has been a part of most of the OnePlus smartphones for a long time.
Configuration
The new phone of the brand is only available in a single configuration of 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. However, the Nord N10 5G has an expandable memory of 512GB, a rare sight for OnePlus smartphones.
As of now, the official website of the brand shows only the Midnight Ice color.
Pricing and availability of Nord N10 5G
OnePlus’ newest phone starts at £329 (USD 428) in the UK and €350 (USD 412) in Europe. For comparison, the OnePlus Nord with an 8GB+128GB configuration retails for about £50 more.
For the time being, the Nord N10 5G is available in only the regions mentioned above on November 20, 2020.
OnePlus will launch the Nord N10 5G in the US since the original OnePlus Nord was not launched. However, the needed details are still on the wraps.
