During this week’s Gamescom event, Amazon revealed a brand new cinematic trailer for its awaited MMORPG title called New World.
With the trailer, New World also announced a date for the open beta before its official launch in September.
‘New World’ release: What to expect?
Amazon’s upcoming project is a fantasy MMO that will allow players to have tons of gameplay settings.
Plus, even before its release, New World has become a hit already. On Steam, it became a huge sensation, with the closed beta gaining more than 200,000 concurrent players!
The released cinematic trailer revealed that the game’s open beta would run from September 9 through September 12.
As its name implies, it will be open to all the users to have early access before the launch. It won’t require you to have a pre-order or pre-purchase.
Fans fond of MMOs will enjoy it as much as they want for an infinite duration during the beta campaign. There won’t be a limitation on the playing time.
However, it will erase all of your progress in the open beta before the release.
Moreover, Amazon mentioned that New World would also prove to be a stress test of the servers before its official arrival. Because in titles like these, servers do struggle when a huge amount of players are online simultaneously.
So if the open beta phase witnesses a lag in the servers, Amazon can fix it before the ultimate launch.

More games are coming soon!
Meanwhile, die-hard gaming lovers are currently looking forward to a lot of new titles. They are scheduled to make their debuts in the coming months.
Speaking of the awaited AAA heavyweights, there are names like Battlefield 2042, Stray, and Dying Light 2.
Cyber Shadow, Life is Strange: True Colors, Shadow Warrior 3, and Little Devil Inside are also listed.
Activision’s Call of Duty: Vanguard is also arriving in full form before the year’s end. The next entry into the iconic first-person shooter franchise will see the story following the World War II route.
Recently announced Tom Clancy’s XDefiant and The Day Before are also among the key launches of 2021.
Coming back to Amazon’s New World, again, then it will officially make its way on September 28 on PC.
