The OPPO A92 is set to share a similar design language as the OPPO A92s, with a twist on its rear camera module.
OPPO has been on all fours lately, expanding its A series of smartphones. The latest to have been caught in the wild is the OPPO A92, whose alleged render is now making rounds online. Additionally, another report has surfaced indicating the phone’s expected vital specifications, which include its screen size, camera configurations, and battery capacity.
An L-shaped rectangular camera module
Easily the highlight on the leaked render of the OPPO A92 is its quadruple-camera setup on its rear. Accordingly, the phone will launch with an L-shaped rectangular camera module on its back.
The leaked render of the OPPO A92 also reveals that the phone will come with a single front-facing camera, housed in its display’s cutout in the upper-left corner. The phone’s panel is also shown to be an LCD type as the device features a fingerprint scanner on its side. If it was missing on the render, then we can assume the phone would launch with an OLED instead.
More key specifications
A leakster also revealed some of the crucial features of the OPPO A92. Accordingly, the phone will arrive with a 6.5-inch LCD display, with a Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone is also tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 chipset, which suggests that we are looking at a mid-range phone.
The OPPO A92 is also speculated to be coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the device is expected to ship with ColorOS 7.1, based on the latest Android 10.0.
48MP-led quad cams and 5,000mAh battery
For its optics, the OPPO A92’s quadruple-camera system is said to comprise of a 48MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture. The primary camera is then set to be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Inside the phone’s display, punch-hole is a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture.
In the battery department, the OPPO A92 is rumored to work on a massive 5,000mAh battery capacity. If this pans out, it will be significantly more prominent than the OPPO A92s’ 3,890mAh battery.
While the OPPO A92 is touted as the toned-down version of the A92s, the phone’s render and speculations seem to point otherwise. With just about the right pricing, this upcoming phone could also prosper, and not largely because of its trendy design.
