The OPPO Reno 4 series is shaping up to be a powerhouse in the battery charging front.
For the past few days, the Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro has been a hot topic due to photos of their poster ads being leaked online. Reports of its specs have been circulating, and Oppo reached out to their fans in Weibo to confirm one of the rumors going around. The Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro will take advantage of their 65W fast charge technology.
First mid-range phones to receive the royal treatment
So far, only flagship models like OPPO Reno Ace, Find X2 series, and OPPO Ace2 has been rocking Oppo’s proprietary 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charge technology. Now, the upcoming mid-range phones are the first non-flagship models. It will receive the royal treatment, being offered the highest-rated fast charge technology currently available.
Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro rumored specs
The Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro are almost similar in the tech they carry within. Both mostly differ only in the display size and camera they offer.
The regular variant is reported to come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, while the Reno 4 Pro will come in a 6.55-inch AMOLED package.
Both models are designed with the triple rear camera setup. It has a 48-megapixels lens as its primary shooter. The Reno 4 also comes with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the Pro version comes with a 13MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.
Both variants are also set to sport 32MP front selfie shooters, with the Reno 4 having a secondary 2MP lens with its dual selfie camera system.
Mid-range internals
Other rumors also point to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor to power the device, accompanied by Adreno 620 GPU to handle graphics. It might also work with a Li-Po 4000 mAh battery, which can be fully charged in approximately 30 minutes using the 65W proprietary fast charge tech.
The Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro photos also show a very sleek, thin body design to accommodate these features.
Oppo is yet to confirm a lot of the rumors and reports regarding specifications and details of the phones’ tech package. We’re also waiting to hear from them regarding the launch dates, and there are speculations that Oppo may announce on June 12th.
