OPPO’s latest addition is a stripped-down version of the critically-lauded Find X2 Pro, with a set of attractive features of its own.
The OPPO Find X2 Lite is now official. Launched in Portugal, OPPO’s newest stab in the mid-range segment, is also the latest addition to its now-growing Find X2 series. The phone’s release is still quite a surprise for most as it has been previously speculated with a different moniker while it was still in the rumor mill weeks ago.
OPPO Reno3 Youth’s doppelgänger
The OPPO Find X2 Lite comes with the same specifications as the OPPO Reno3 Youth’s, right from its display, down to its internals. It is built around on a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The phone’s screen also supports 430 nits of typical brightness.
The phone is also one of the very last entries in the mid-range segment to feature a dewdrop notch, which houses its front-facing camera. Around its back, the handset sports a quadruple-camera setup houses in a straightforward module that is placed vertically on the back panel’s upper-left section.
Solid mid-range internals
Powering the OPPO Find X2 Lite is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chipset, which enables the device to support the next-gen 5G connectivity. Meanwhile, the phone also banks on Adreno 620 for its GPU needs.
An 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage couple the OPPO Find X2 Lite. The handset works on a 4,025mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
A complete rear camera setup
For its optics, the OPPO Find X2 Lite employs a quad-camera setup on its rear. The system comprises a large 48MP primary wide camera, which is then accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP B/W camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Inside the notch of the OPPO Find X2 Lite is a 32MP wide selfie snapper.
OS and pricing
The OPPO Find X2 Lite ships with ColorOS 7, based on the latest Android 10.0. The phone is also equipped with Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, an in-display fingerprint scanner is included.
The OPPO Find X2 Lite has two color variants – Moonlight Black and Pearl White. Currently, it retails with a price tag of €499 but isn’t available for purchasing or pre-ordering. Buyers, however, can register for notification with the device finally becomes available.
There is no word yet whether the OPPO Find X2 Lite will arrive in other countries, apart from Portugal
