OPPO has also employed a notch on the device, housing a single 32-megapixel selfie snapper. Around its back, the phone has a quadruple-camera setup, front-lined by a 48MP sensor. The vertically-aligned sensors also comprise of 8MP ultrawide and two 2MP macro and depth lenses.

Snapdragon 765G chip

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chipset also powers OPPO’s mid-range smartphone. The 5G-enabled octa-core processor also features Adreno 620 for the smartphone’s needs on graphics.

The handset is then paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage options. The handset is listed with a 4,025mAh battery, with support for 30W VOOC 4.0 fast wired charging.

The OPPO K7 5G also has gaming-oriented features in tow. At the helm is the Hyper Boost 3.0, which should improve its overall gaming performance. There is also the Link Boost 2.0 feature, which uses both the 5G network and Wi-Fi connection simultaneously to offer beefed-up network speeds.

Pricing and availability

The base 8GB/128GB variant of the OPPO K7 5G is priced at CNY 1,999, while the 8GB/256GB model retails for CNY 2,299. Both versions are now up for pre-order in China via JD.com. The device is set to go on sale on August 11.
