Orland Bloom bonds with Katy Perry's dad weeks after Daisy Dove's birth

Orlando Bloom took time to bond with his future father-in-law, Keith Perry, weeks after welcoming his baby with Katy Perry.

Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry have welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, last month. Earlier this week, the Lord of the Rings star was seen out and about with Katy’s dad.

Orlando Bloom enjoy quality time with Katy’s dad

Orlando Bloom hopped into his 1940s truck and met his fiancée’ Katy Perry’s dad for coffee on Tuesday, People reported. Bloom kept it casual by wearing a white shirt and green jeans.

Meanwhile, Keith opted for an all-black outfit with a vest and thick silver chain necklace. He also accessorized with a cap and dark shades.

Prior to Orlando Bloom’s bonding time with Katy Perry’s dad, the latter was also seen out and about alone. She enjoyed some retail therapy on her own weeks after giving birth. She was spotted carrying two paper bags when she exited Wendy Foster.

Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy.⠀ ⠀ “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” Katy and Orlando told us.⠀ ⠀ “But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. Since COVID-19 many more newborn lives are at risk because of the increased lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases. As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with struggling parents now more than ever.⠀ ⠀ “As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare. In celebration of the heart we know our daughter already has, we have set up a donation page to celebrate DDB’s arrival. By supporting them, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child. We hope your ♥️ can bloom with generosity.⠀ ⠀ Gratefully-⠀ ⠀ Katy & Orlando.”⠀ ⠀ Please tap the link in our bio to support the most precious gift: a healthy child.

Orlando and Katy on welcoming their daughter

Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry partnered with UNICEF for the announcement of their baby’s arrival. The organization was the first to announce Daisy Dove’s birth with a statement from the couple.

Bloom and Perry didn’t share too much about their baby, but hinted that the Roar singer had a “peaceful birth.” The couple acknowledged the fact that not every expectant mom can have the same peaceful experience, so they urged their fans to donate to UNICEF.

The donation aims to help moms and newborn babies get access to quality healthcare and services.

Prior to their daughter’s arrival, the doting dad already gushed over his baby girl.

“I’ve been feeling very grateful, obviously, I have a little baby girl on the way,” Bloom said on The Tonight Show.

“I’m so excited to have a little daddy’s girl. I hope she’s going to love me as much as I love her. That daddy girl thing and that love of your life feeling is right around there.”

Couple leaving Hollywood rumors

There are speculations that Katy Perry and Orland Bloom are quitting Hollywood for good. They are reportedly moving to Santa Barbara, which is safer and more child-friendly. The outlet quoted an anonymous source saying that leaving Tinseltown has been on the cards for quite a while.

However, one should take the report with a grain of salt. It’s understandable if the couple will look for a place that’s more family-friendly because they have a baby to raise. However, it’s a stretch to claim that they are quitting Hollywood when they are just reconsidering their living condition.
