Outer Banks star Chase Stokes finally revealed the truth about him and his co-star Madelyn Cline. Their love interest goes beyond their TV show.
Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline are both stars of Netflix’s action-adventure mystery teen drama web series Outer Banks.
Stokes plays the role of John B, who is the ringleader of the Pogues. Meanwhile, Cline portrays Sarah Cameron, daughter of Ward Cameron, and John B’s love interest.
And just as many have hoped for, the two brought their on-screen romance to real life.

The two have been rumored of their relationship as more than friends since mid-April. However, they only answered coyly when asked about their dating status.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight back in April, Stokes and Cline did not directly answer the question “are you single? are you dating?” Instead, Stokes said “nothing exclusive” while Cline said “we’re friends.”
However, they did admit that they have been quarantining together along with some other co-stars.
Fast forward today, their relationship has been made official through an Instagram photo that Stokes posted in his account.

The picture showed the couple hanging out at the beach with some takeout food. In the caption is “cats outta the bag” with heart emoji.
There are no direct words regarding officially dating, but it referred to the confirmation of it, especially with the second photo in the post.
Swiping left, the second photo shows Cline wearing a beautiful smile while holding a bottle of wine.
Cline’s response
Cline responded to Stokes’ photos saying, “Topper punching the air rn.” Topper is played by Austin North, and he is Sarah’s ex-boyfriend in Outer Banks.
She also dropped another comment that says, “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” and it has garnered around 130,000 likes as of writing.
Fans who ship Cline and Stokes rejoiced with the news of their relationship. Their friends and co-stars also made sure to drop some comments to their announcement.
Season 2
Outer Banks premiered on April 15 this year with only 10 episodes. Since then, fans have been wondering if there’s going to be a continuation to the cliffhanger.
Previous reports revealed that until now, Netflix has not yet made any renewal announcement. But series creator Jonas Pate said that has plans for at least four or five seasons.
“We’ve sort of long-arced it out pretty far. I’m just hoping that we get a chance to actually tell those stories,” Pate said.
He also revealed that they have been working on some season 2 scripts even before season 1 came out. And when asked regarding plans for a sophomore run, Pate said:
“We’ll definitely have at least a part of season 2 that’ll take place in the Bahamas, but it’ll all come back to the Outer Banks because that’s our spiritual home.”
Fans will have to stay tuned to find out if they will see more of Stokes and Cline in Outer Banks.
