Overcooked is a fun multiplayer series by Team17 and Ghost Town Games. The cooking craze is far from done as the makers have recently announced Overcooked All You Can Eat for next-gen consoles.
Team17 and Ghost Town Games are taking their cooking multiplayer series into the next generation of consoles. Overcooked All You Can Eat has been announced. Though no release date has been pegged for the game yet, the developers note that it is ‘coming soon.’
What is it?
The game is the ultimate compilation that features Overcooked 1 and Overcooked 2, as well as their respective DLCs. In total, the game will have over 200 levels of Overcooked madness that can be played by up-to-four players.
Since the collection is launching for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, fans can also expect some performance and visual upgrades that fit the next generation of consoles.
For the first time in the series, there will be an online multiplayer component. This allows players to work with others online. This is going to be an exciting new feature as the game has been traditionally played via couch co-op. It will be exciting to see players panic over cooking online.
Last but not the least, the game will come with a host of new accessibility options. This is to make the game easier to play for some gamers. Despite what it shows, Overcooked is a pretty challenging game, especially when played in a group.
What is the game about?
Overcooked All You Can Eat makes a lot of sense. The first two games are huge commercial successes. To this date, these are still the most played multiplayer titles on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
In Overcooked, up to four players are tasked with running a kitchen. They’ll have to be very coordinated to make sure that each of the orders is met. To shake things up, the game introduces a handful of unique kitchens, including one with magical portals and even some that are on the sky. This makes the experience much more challenging.
Overcooked All You Can Eat is going to be an exciting title that will excite fans of all ages. It’s good that the developers are bringing the experience to the next generation of consoles as it something that everyone will enjoy. Hopefully, we don’t have to wait long to get our hands on the game.
