Actor Paul Bettany just raised the excitement of all WandaVision fans. He revealed a mysterious cast addition to the Disney Plus MCU series.
According to The Independent, Marvel’s first-ever TV show, WandaVision, will feature another new cast member. The MCU series’ main lead actor Paul Bettany revealed this big news. Even though all the information regarding the show’s entire cast is already known, this revelation is quite shocking.
Talking to Black Girl Nerds recently, the Vision actor said there’s one more actor to appear in the upcoming Disney+ series. And that it will surprise the viewers.
WandaVision: Everything you need to know
Paul Bettany mentioned that the yet unknown actor would appear in the forthcoming TV show.
Here’s what he told Black Girl Nerds:
“I get to work with an actor that’s going to be a surprise for everybody.”
The 49-year-old actor added that he always wanted to work with this actor. And in the show, they both have “some real fireworks together.”
Moreover, Bettany also said that for WandaVision, he took inspiration from House star Hugh Laurie and Malcolm in the Middle’s Bryan Cranston.
Speaking of the Disney Plus MCU series, it’s about to begin on the streaming platform this Friday. There are a total of nine episodes. And each of them is having an average duration of 30 minutes. When it comes to cast members, apart from the main leads, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany also feature Kathryn Hahn as their neighbor Agnes. Teyonah Parris plays a grown-up Monica Rambeau. The character first appeared in 2019’s Captain Marvel.
Interestingly, Kat Dennings and Randall Park are coming back as well. They will reprise their past roles of Darcy Lewis and FBI Agent Jimmy Woo, respectively.
Be ready for huge Marvel Entertainment in 2021
Meanwhile, there are not just one or two or three MCU titles arriving this year. It’s going to be a massive streak of non-stop Marvel Entertainment in 2021. In March, another Disney Plus series Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will make its debut. After that, there’s the highly-awaited Black Widow film releasing in May.
Shang-Chi, Eternals, and Spider-Man 3 will also arrive by the end of the calendar.
Disney’s streaming platform will soon give out new projects like She-Hulk, Loki, Ironheart, and Secret Invasion! Moon Knight, Armor Wars, and possible Agents of SWORD series will also be added to the growing collection. The universe will become even more expanded in the coming years.
Coming back to WandaVision, the first installment in Phase four of the MCU premieres on Jan. 15th.
