Film’s storyline
Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe will feature Phineas and Ferb navigating through the galaxy. After their sister Candice was taken away by aliens, they will strive hard to rescue her. However, this will likely be a difficult mission as Candice already found a paradise far away from her bothersome brothers.
The original series’ creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff Marsh further shared their insights about the storyline of the latest installment. Povenmire told Entertainment Weekly:
“It’s a different story than we often told with the show. We had never really put Candace in jeopardy and told any rescue stories that way.”
Who will return
The show’s original cast will reprise their roles for the next movie. Devotees will witness the return of Ashley Tisdale (Candace Flynn), Vincent Martella (Phineas Flynn), David Errigo (Ferb), Caroline Rhea (Linda), and Dee Bradley Baker (Perry the Platypus).
The roster is not complete without Phineas and Ferb’s squad, as well as their enemies. Thus, the film will also star Alyson Stoner (Isabella), Maulik Pancholy (Baljeet), Bobby Gaylor (Buford), Olivia Olson (Vanessa), Tyler Mann (Carl), and Povenmire (Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz).
