Far Cry 6 is currently impressing many fans of the beloved open-world franchise, especially when it comes to Easter eggs.
Some players have recently come across an interesting Far Cry 5 Easter egg in Far Cry 6 while engaging in a side quest.
‘Far Cry 6’ reference connects to ‘Far Cry 5’
The latest entry in Ubisoft’s famous series made its debut last week and is doing very well in terms of sales and reviews.
In the newest installment, players find themselves in the island country of Yara, ruled by El Presidente, Anton Castillo. They go against his army as Dani Rojas, the main protagonist.
While it’s not exactly related in terms of story to its predecessors, Far Cry 6 still manages to feature tons of easter eggs. Recently, the players found one during a side quest at Oceguera Farm. This reference directly connects to the Far Cry 5 title.
In Far Cry 5, Joseph Seed used a drug called Bliss so that he could brainwash people for his various motives. This specific drug comes from a plant with white flowers that caused hallucinations when exposed for an extended period of time.
Talking about Far Cry 6, then one player recently found an interesting callback to the Bliss Flower while being on a side mission. This quest is called “The Seed of Love” and requires the protagonist to help Lorenzo Canseco in Sierra Perdida reunite with his seven children.
While searching for the fourth child at Oceguera Farm, the player finds a white flower inside a small pot. Moreover, it also has the symbol of Joseph Seed’s Eden’s Gate cult.
After they interact with the flower, players in Far Cry 6 also experience hallucinations and green mist.
The players then end up following a dancing woman-like figure through the forest. Upon reaching further to this mysterious woman in the green mist, they ultimately find Lorenzo’s daughter, Riel.
