Players notice odd-looking kids in ‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’

There is definitely something wrong with the children in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and players are quick to point it out.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has only been out for about a month but it’s already looking to be one of the biggest games of 2020. The game saw an overwhelmingly positive reception from both critics and players alike. Many praised Valhalla’s vast open-world and its abundance of content. However, there is one thing that’s bothering players: The children.

Horrific-looking children in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Children are meant to look innocent and good. However, some kids in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla look like something straight out of a horror film. And as proven by countless horror films, children could become the scariest and freakiest monsters out there.

Players have now started to notice these odd-looking kids and are sharing them on Reddit. It is important to note that most children in Valhalla look normal but there are some that could give players the creeps. This may just be caused by a glitch or a case of poor design.

Players have shared kids with facial hair while one can even turn his head backwards. Some don’t even look like kids while one looks like the killer doll, Chucky. It is still a question of whether Ubisoft is aware of this issue. But given the attention these kids are getting, it’s likely they will patch a redesign soon.

Thankfully, despite the creepy-looking children, the game is entertaining and immersive enough for players to let the small issue slide. Even now, players are discovering new content and surprises in the game’s vast world.

Corrupted files?

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is also plagued by another bug, one that affects the player’s experience. More and more people are now reporting an error that is corrupting their saved files. Sadly for these players, the only thing they could do at the moment is to delete said files and start over.

Luckily, for this issue, Ubisoft has stated they are already aware of the situation and is in the process of creating a fix. However, the company didn’t say exactly when they will fix the issue. But Ubisoft did announce previously that they will release a patch in the coming weeks. Many expect the corrupted file issue to be fixed when the patch does arrive. But for now, they can only bear with it.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is now playable on the PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
