You will be glad to know that Sony has sorted this issue, which will allow you to play games on PlayStation 5 and give you access to watch reputed enthralling series on Netflix and play songs using Spotify.
Sony’s next-gen console will help you answer all your questions and issues. It will support some of the more entertainment apps at the launch of PlayStation 5. In a blog post, Sony confirmed that it would allow access to some of the major streaming platforms on PS5 on November 12th.
The list of those popular applications includes Apple TV Plus, Disney Plus, Netflix, Spotify, Twitch, and YouTube, making PS5 a hub for all the reputed and exciting applications altogether.

What PlayStation 5 will provide?
The company also claimed that many more streaming options would be available on PS5, such as Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Peacock. HBO Max is absent from this list as it is in dispute between Amazon and Roku.
On the other hand, an anime supported streaming applications, Crunchyroll, will be available at the PS5 launch as said by the spokesperson of PlayStation 5.
In addition to all this, Sony also confirmed the button’s position for the direct access of four streaming channels, namely Disney Plus, Netflix, Spotify, and YouTUbe.
Sony confirmed that the unmarked button located in the dedicated PS5 Media Remote would act as the buttons for direct access to the streaming, as mentioned above. The PS5 Media Remote will not be included in the purchase of the PS5.
It will solely be distributed on a different price tag. It is supposed to be sold at a rate of $30. Other retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop are also selling the remote, but the remotes are out of stock right now.

With the next-gen consoles coming by the next week, Sony is deliberately showcasing that gaming consoles are not only meant for playing games. They are more than just a platform for playing exciting and enthralling games.
