The Poco F2 Pro is tipped to be the Redmi K30 Pro’s rebranded version.
Only hours after its purported color variants and pricing were leaked to the wild, the Poco F2 Pro is finally confirmed for a May 12th global launch.
In one of POCO’s latest tweets, Xiaomi’s former subsidiary hinted via a clip that the Poco F2 Pro is indeed slated to arrive on the aforementioned date. The phone’s debut is eagerly anticipated for a reason that couldn’t be more obvious. The device is set to succeed the hugely popular Pocophone F1 which was launched in August 2018.
Almost two years after its predecessor’s debut, is the Poco F2 Pro a worthy follow up?
Rebranded Redmi K30 Pro
Speculations are rife that the imminent Poco F2 Pro is the rebranded version of the Redmi K30 Pro. If this truly pans out, then it is a no-brainer that the Pocophone F1 successor should thrive well on the market. Unless, of course, POCO associates the forthcoming phone with a disappointing pricing.
Based on the phone’s recent leaks, it is tipped that the Poco F2 Pro will cost EUR 570 for its 128GB variant. Other reports also speculated that the phone could arrive with a EUR 649 price tag for its 6GB/128GB edition. Meanwhile, the device’s 8GB/256GB variant might get retailed for EUR 749.
Rumored specifications
Apart from its pricing, the Poco F2 Pro’s color options were also revealed. Accordingly, the phone will launch with Blue, Grey, Purple, and White paint jobs.
