Xiaomi has announced the Poco X3 NFC with midrange specs at a very attractive US$270 price point.
Poco smartphones bring great performance at an affordable price point. The Poco X3 NFC continues this trend with its great internals and budget-oriented price.
Xiaomi unveiled the device online via its global live stream event. The smartphone came with the tagline “exactly what you need” and Poco might have hit the right spot.
Powerful specs at an affordable price
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G powers the Poco X3 and it is the first smartphone to come with it. This mid-range processor is partnered with 6GB of memory. Users may choose between 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. But it also has a microSD card slot if these two variants are not enough.
Display-wise, this device is proving that high refresh rate screens are becoming more affordable. Xiaomi managed to put a 6.67-inch full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate at this price point. Daylight usability is not a problem as it can go up to 450 nits.
Besides the great display and processor, this device comes with a large 5,160mAh battery. The battery life is yet to be tested. But it supports 33W fast charging so topping it up would be quick.
There are four cameras at the back with the main shooter having a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 sensor. It is accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultrawide angle camera. There are two 2-megapixel cameras for macro shooting and depth sensing.
Other features include IP68 dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers, Wi-fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. It currently runs Android 10 with Poco MIUI 12 on top.
Xiaomi is shaking up the budget mid-range smartphone market with the Poco X3 NFC. This device goes on sale in Europe this September 8.
