True to its promise, Niantic finally confirms the date for the Pokémon GO Marill Day make-up event in the European region.
On April 12, Niantic hosted “GO Battle Day: Marill” to celebrate the launch of the GO Battle League leaderboard globally.
It was a milestone event; however, there were some server issues in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Nevertheless, Niantic addressed the concern and promised a make-up event for the affected trainers.
Trainers, we are aware of server issues that impacted the EMEA region during Go Battle Day: Marill. Please stay tuned for a future announcement regarding a make-up event. Thank you for your patience.

Indeed enough, almost two weeks after the original GO Battle Day event, the Pokémon GO maker finally gives its EU players a date for the Marill Day re-do.
Make-up date for EU trainers
On its official Twitter page, Pokémon GO marks April 26 for the make-up GO Battle Day: Marill event across Europe.
Not only is Niantic repeating the event for the sake of the affected Europe-based trainers, but the mobile game giant also has something in store for all its players globally.
Accordingly, there’s going to be two GO Battle League sets, on top of the five regular sets on that day.
If the same event mechanics apply, EU trainers will be able to enjoy 20 sets of GO Battle League battles from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time on April 26.

Other Pokémon GO events and updates
Niantic has been quite busy making sure its players will be able to continue enjoying the game despite the unfortunate circumstances.
The San Francisco-based company has been hard at work to adjust its gameplay to a more indoor-conducive structure and coming up with many interactive events.
Before the make-up Marill event on April 26, trainers all around the world will have the previously canceled Abra Community Day on April 25.
