In a deal with The Pokémon Company International, Netflix has secured the rights to be the exclusive home of Pokémon Journeys: The Series in the United States.
It appears that the series will premiere on Netflix in June 12. Amid the ongoing threat of coronavirus, several companies under the entertainment industry are forced to write off the rest of the year. They are left with no option but to stop production and delay new release.
Netflix is only one invincible to the unprecedented global health dilemma. During its annual earnings call, the company reassured its subscribers that it will not run out of new TV shows or movies in the immediate future.
Case in point, Netflix has recently announced the expected arrival of the animated series Pokémon Journeys: The Series to its streaming library.
Netflix partners with The Pokémon Company International

This is due to Netflix’ tremendous reach and ability for fans to enjoy content anytime and anywhere. She further expressed her excitement and stated,
“We can’t wait for Pokémon fans of all ages to continue discovering the spirit of adventure and friendship in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, our newest season coming to Netflix this June.”
