The previous Pokemon Presents livestream had some major surprises, including the reveal of Pokemon Snap, and other upcoming titles. Perhaps the biggest surprise was that there is going to be another livestream featuring a major announcement.
Nintendo teases that the next Pokemon Presents livestream is going to feature a major project that fans are going to love. Without further ado, here’s everything we know about the upcoming event.
Schedule
The next livestream is scheduled today at 6am PDT/2pm BST. Players can watch the stream over at The Pokemon Company’s official YouTube channel. Alternatively, players can watch it at the Nintendo YouTube channel as well.
What to expect
Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara said of the event in last week’s Pokémon Presents: “There is another big project that we’re working on that I still want to share with you. You won’t have to wait long, as I plan to share more news with you next week on June 24, so please look forward to it.”
It’s a pretty vague statement, but fans are already making their guesses as to what the Pokemon Presents livestream will be about.
While guesses are pretty wild, fans do admit that it’s unlikely for the company to reveal a new mainline Pokemon game that’s a follow-up to Pokemon Sword and Shield. There’s still the Crown of Tundra DLC that fans have to look forward to, so it’s unlikely that a new game is in the works for now.
The hottest guess in the rumor mill is that there will be another remake like the recent Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. From the look of things, it’s likely that the remake will be for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl from the Nintendo DS.
The Pokemon Present livestream is a big one as a new project is going to be revealed. We’re sure that fans are already on edge and excited to see what the company is working on, and we only have a few more hours to wait. Hopefully, fans get the remake that they have been asking for a long time now.
