Pooh Shiesty received a warrant of arrest following the disturbing shooting at a Miami strip club last month.
Pooh Shiesty scored a legal problem instead of after getting involved in a shooting that left a security guard injured.
In a new report by Fox News, it revealed that the Miami-Dade Police Department issued a warrant of arrest for Shiesty. The detention came a few days after the May 30 shooting in Miami over an alleged money argument.
The 21-year-old now faces a charge for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, which is a form of felony.
Meanwhile, the police report confirmed that the incident happened at the King Diamonds nightclub around 4:00 a.m. Shiesty, since then, remains in police custody. The authorities do not release him yet on bond and charges have not yet been issued.
What happened during the altercation?
On Tuesday, the news outlet revealed that witnesses saw a security staff escorting Shiesty out of the club. However, an altercation happened between the rapper and the guard.
Meanwhile, the security manager said that the dispute started due to the money that fell out of Shiesty’s pants. The amount remains unclear, but the rapper immediately pointed his gun toward the guard and shot his right ankle.
When the police responded at the scene, the young rapper already fled from the club.
Pooh Shiesty nor his representatives already released an official statement regarding the arrest. However, it serves as another embarrassment in the hip-hop community as more rappers get involve in the same case.
Apart from Shiesty, the 29-year-old rapper DaBaby – whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk – also underwent police questioning.
Last week, authorities approached DaBaby for his alleged involvement in a shooting incident near the Prime 112 Steakhouse. The firing incident left two individuals with a gunshot on shoulder wound and leg wound.
Meanwhile, authorities also charged 21-year-old rapper Wisdom for attempted murder with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a firearm. The victim Ernesto Delgado revealed that it all started in a parking spot near the restaurant.
The rapper’s car door, reportedly, bumped into Delgado’s family truck.
“I looked down. Blood everywhere, you know. I was scared. I was thinking about my daughter. Like, ‘You gotta make it home,’” Delgado told NBC6.
Meanwhile, Delgado’s companion Christopher Urena fired a weapon back and hit one of Wisdom’s entourage. It, reportedly, paralyzed the man back.
Currently, the authorities hold Wisdom without a bond.
