Prince Harry has been vocal about his mental health struggles and how the sudden death of his mother, Princess Diana, had an impact on his personal life.
Back in 1997, news broke that the Princess of Wales died in a car accident along with her boyfriend, the Egyptian-born socialite Dodi Fayed during their vacation in Paris.
At the time, his two boys were aged 12 and 15 and had a hard time coping up with her death.
In his previous interview with Daily Telegraph, the Duke of Sussex revealed that he is on the edge of “complete breakdown” and experienced years in “total chaos.”
“I can safely say that losing my mum at the age of 12, and therefore shutting down all of my emotions for the last 20 years, has had a quite serious effect on not only my personal life but my work as well,” he mentioned.

This dark phase of Prince Harry was explored in the new biography, “Battle of Brothers” royal author and “The Crown’s” historical consultant, Robert Lacey.
In the bombshell book, the 36-years-old former royal’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas sees him as “damaged and self-obsessed.”
In an excerpt obtained by the Daily Mail, the author claimed that his odd behavior had a negative effect on his relationship with the British model.
“‘No matter how educated, talented, rich or cool you believe you are,’ she posted enigmatically on her Instagram page, ‘how you treat people ultimately tells it all.'”
Moreover, Bonas also told her friends that the former royal had a “neurosis” about the press and often whined about being chased by paparazzi that is not even there.
“She complained to friends that Harry had a neurosis about the media. He’d rant and complain about paparazzi lurking where clearly there were none, she said.”
Who Is Cressida Bonas?
Prince Harry and the blonde beauty dated for two years after calling it quits in 2014.
Born in Winchester, Hampshire, and a descendent of King Charles II, she was his last serious girlfriend before he met Meghan Markle.
Back then, Bonas was believed to be the woman that Prince Harry would marry.
Following her split with Prince Harry, she feared that she would be dubbed as an “it girl” and worried that it would overshadow her budding acting career.
“I think that I work very, very hard, I love what I do, and I just hope that this role has shown people what I can do and what I would like to do going forward and not be caught in a box in any way,” she told Australia’s Daily Telegraph.
