Prince Harry and Meghan Markle becoming more irrelevant, expert claims

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle receive lesser support ever since they gave up their royal positions. This time, a royal expert slammed the two.

Recently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared frequently in the online summit and interviews.

This might be a sign that they want to show the monarchy that they are doing well. However, a royal expert nicknamed them as “irrelevant” as they continue to make absurd moves.

During an interview on Ann Griper’s Pod Save the Queen, Daily Mirror royal editor Russell Myers explained it more.

Per Myers, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex keep on sounding off whenever they talk about things. He even compared them to Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.

Unlike the Sussexes, the royal family’s central members spend their time speaking out on major global issues.

“They’ve got to be careful here, sitting in an ivory tower, sounding off about things that are just coming into your head without people to advise you ‒ I don’t really know who their advisers are at the moment,” Myers warned.

He went on to brand Prince Harry and Meghan as a bit irrelevant. Moreover, the way Prince William and Kate talk about more important issues outshined them more.

This then pushed the ex-senior royals to be left behind compared with the royal family members.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle not doing it right

In the same podcast, the host further discussed how the royal couple chose to join a New York-based Harry Walker Agency.

The said agency represents the Obamas and the Clintons, showing that they want to do public speaking more.

“When you’ve signed up to be public speakers then that kind of is their role, you are public speaking,” she explained.

Griper then mentioned the interview where Meghan appeared recently. Although the duchess spoke about a different thing, it became a work on progress for the couple — somehow.

What Meghan carelessly said

During Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Next Gen Virtual Summit, Meghan compared internet users to drug addicts. This became a tone-deaf statement, especially since she once became a prolific internet user, as well.

“There is something algorithmically that is in there that is creating this obsession that I think is very unhealthy for a lot of people,” the duchess said.

She even included the royal family’s name again and revealed that they never managed their Sussex Royal Instagram page.
