Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been notoriously breaking royal traditions and protocols for the past few months.
However, this time, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are about to break another special tradition just like what they did last year.
A source recently revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan are not yet prepared to return to the U.K. for Christmas. They announced the situation nearly two and a half months before the Holiday season.
The insider revealed to Vanity Fair that although Prince William and Prince Harry are on better terms now, they are highly unlikely to see each other in December.
“At this stage they are really enjoying their new life in California and their new home,” the source disclosed. “There are currently no plans for them to return to the U.K. for Christmas.”
Furthermore, the source pointed out that the royal family is not yet ready to enjoy a cozy Christmastime now.
The royal family faced a lot of hardships this year — from Megxit to the coronavirus pandemic.
If the family-of-three does not really make it in December, then they are about to break the monarchy’s Christmas tradition again.

Where were the Sussexes last year?
Traditionally, the members of the royal family join Queen Elizabeth II at Sandringham to celebrate Christmas.
However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose to spend the holiday last year in Canada with their son, Archie.
Even before the holiday season, they took a break from their royal duties until the first week of January. They revealed bombshell plans about their desire to step back as senior royal members when they came back.
During that time, Her Majesty even led crisis talks with Prince William and Prince Charles to plot the future of the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes.
But as a result, the monarchy agreed to let them go and announced that they would no longer be working members anymore.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new lives
Ever since they officially ended their royal duties on March 31, the Sussexes relocated to the U.S., where they had highs and lows due to pandemic.
After months of searching for a permanent home, the couple and their son purchased a $12 million mansion in California.
In addition, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly landed a $117 million worth of deal with Netflix.
Until now, there is no recent update about their new careers yet.
