Prince Harry, allegedly, doesn’t like how Prince William still bosses him around even though he’s no longer a senior working royal.
According to Us Weekly, Prince William is asking Prince Harry to fly to the United Kingdom ahead of the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue so that they could talk.
The Duke of Cambridge’s intentions is reportedly pure. He simply doesn’t want any awkwardness at the event that will commemorate the life of the Princess of Wales.
Prince Harry doesn’t want to see Prince William sooner
However, Prince Harry is having second thoughts about flying to the United Kingdom early especially if it means he’s doing what his brother wants.
“He hates being told what to do at the best of times. And now that he’s decided to live his life on his own terms, it’s even more irritating and unacceptable,” the source said.
According to the source, Prince Harry might not be able to fly to the UK sooner because of his work commitments and busy schedule with his family.
Prince Harry making up excuses to reject brother’s invitation
He recently accepted a gig with a start-up company. And he and Meghan Markle are also awaiting the birth of their daughter.
“Harry has so much going on. He just wants to fly into London and fly out that same night to avoid confrontation. Harry’s annoyed William is trying to control him and is now backtracking. He’s saying the unveiling may conflict with Meghan’s due date,” the source said.
Prince William upset with his brother
However, the insider also claimed that Prince William would be furious if his younger brother refuses his invitation.
“If Harry acts out on the day or even worse, doesn’t show up, William will never, ever forgive him. Harry still has a lot of anger toward William and the royal household, so he’s not sure if he’ll attend or not,” the source said.
As of late, there is no update about Prince William and Prince Harry’s plans for July other than that they’ve agreed on how the statue would look like.
It is also important to note that the royal siblings will reunite much sooner than the tabloid claims. After all, Prince Harry is already in the UK for Prince Philip’s funeral.
