Prince Harry and Margot Robbie are not having a secret catch-up in Los Angeles as what one tabloid claims.
Prince Harry and Margot Robbie had known each other long before he met and married Meghan Markle. One outlet claimed that they are having a secret catch-up, which is not true.
Prince Harry and Margot Robbie allegedly having a secret catch-up
New Idea published a report with the headline “Prince Harry and Margot Robbie’s secret LA catch up!” It quoted Robbie talking about inviting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over.
“We haven’t [had dinner], but I would, for sure,” Robbie told New! magazine.
“Whenever I met Harry in London at parties, he was always a lot of fun, so it would be great to have them both over.”
The Suicide Squad is living in a $7 million estate in Los Angeles with her husband, Tom Ackerley. She added that it would be cool to hang out with the royal couple. She also advised the duke to give it more time because moving to a new country is not easy.
“Obviously I know Harry and I kind of feel like we can relate to them and their move, so it would be cool to hang out and have dinner,” Robbie continued.
“Give it time, I think. I have moved country twice now and it’s not easy, but in time, places become home and LA has a lot to offer.”
Catch-up rumor debunked
New Idea’s headline is misleading because it suggests that Prince Harry and Margot Robbie are meeting secretly. However, the report talked about Robbie expressing her interest in inviting the couple for dinner and nothing more.
There were no secret catch-ups. Also, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star has made it clear that she wants to see the couple and not just the royal prince.
Also, with New Idea’s reputation for publishing articles based on the statements of its undependable sources, this could be another groundless claim waiting to be debunked. So, avid followers of the royal couple should take these hearsays lightly until everything is proven true and correct.
What did Robbie say about Prince Harry
Margot Robbie’s connection to the Duke of Sussex became a topic when Suki Waterhouse shared a group photo on Instagram, which she also quickly deleted.
The snap featured herself, Cara Delevingne, Sienna Miller, Margot Robbie, Princess Eugenie, and a “mystery man” in glasses and cap. The man in question was later identified as Prince Harry.
Robbie told The Sun that it was Delevingne who knows Prince William’s brother. The Paper Town star suggested that they pranked the royal when they were filming Suicide Squad, and it was how she knew Meghan Markle’s husband before their group picture in a photo booth.
“I said, ‘We can’t prank-call royalty,’ but anyway we did — and he was so cool with it,” Robbie shared.
“Prince Harry is so nice. England literally has the coolest royalty in the world.”
