Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are about to celebrate the first birthday of their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. But, even though the couple already has a kid, rumors swirl that they’re still planning to adopt a child. Is this the way they’re going to expand their family?
There are claims Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want to adopt “multiracial children” like what Angelina Jolie did. Allegedly, a royal source revealed the truth about the alleged “royal adoption bombshell.” So, is there any truth about it?
Adopting multiracial kids
An alleged “palace prattler” told National Enquirer that the Sussexes want to have a large brood of “biological and adopted multiracial children.” They, reportedly, both admired how Brad Pitt’s ex-wife chose to adopt kids.
There are also claims that the two have adopted an African baby after their wedding in May 2018. Another questionable palace insider revealed that after they visited two orphanages, they quickly fell in love with a young, beautiful girl with a charming smile.
The kid in question is said to be six months old. “This will be a first for the royal family. Harry and Meghan are going to face a lot of opposition from the old guard,” the source added about the adoption.
Gossip Cop debunks these claims, as there’s no truth to both stories. National Enquirer is known for making adverse reports about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle since they become a thing. Hence, its statements about the Sussexes become questionable.
The adoption of the African baby is also not real. The palace’s communication staffer only laughed off the issue, as it’s truly a lie.

Archie Harrison’s birthday
The only truth is Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have one kid, and it’s Archie Harrison. The tot is turning two years old on May 6, but they may only be celebrating alone. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown, they may have a low-key affair.
According to Express, they originally planned to make a big birthday bash for their 11-month-old son, attended by A-list personalities and celebrities. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, they will be celebrating alone at their home.
“It will be just the three of them,” a source said. “Meghan understandably refuses to take any risks with guests or travel.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also intended to celebrate Archie Harrison’s big day with the royal family. But, that, too, would never happen. Anyhow, they might mark the event with a video call with the royal family and their friends.
