Prince Charles, reportedly, continuously funds his son, Prince Harry, and his daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, after they stepped down as senior royals.
Rumors have it Prince Charles is still funding Prince Harry and his family a whopping $360,000 a month. As the Sussexes already earn from their massive deal with Netflix, is there any truth about it?
Funding Prince Harry, Meghan’s lifestyle
In a Globe report, it claimed the Prince of Wales is “still paying for his royal brat and his high maintenance wife.”
The magazine alleged the heir to the throne has a soft spot for his youngest son. The Duke of Sussex remains his favorite child, despite outraging the Royal Family with their “antics” and moving to America.
Should Prince Harry decide to return to the U.K., Prince Charles made it clear that the door would always be open for them.
The tabloid also asserted the prince and his wife were already broke. After buying a $14-million mansion, they badly needed the money right now.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, they found it hard to find some work to do. Meghan failed to continue her acting career.
The publication contended they only planned to “cash in on their titles and celebrity status.”
So, Prince Charles is to the rescue, “sticking by his runaway son.”

Debunking the wrongful claims
Gossip Cop debunked these claims and insisted there was no truth about it. There’s no way Prince Harry and Meghan needed Prince Charles’ financial help, especially after signing a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix.
They, too, are never broke with Meghan’s money from Suits and Prince Harry’s inheritance.
They recently paid over $3 million of taxpayers’ money used for the renovation of their Frogmore Cottage home.
So, if they have money to repay their dues, they also have money to fund themselves. Also, news recently emerged that they would no longer receive funding from Prince Charles.
Prince Harry, Meghan stop receiving money from Prince Charles
Newsweek confirmed Prince Harry and Meghan would stop accepting money from Prince Charles after having a Netflix mega deal.
The couple expressed their intention to be “financially independent” when they announced their decision to step back from their royal duties.
The two signed a major, multi-year contract with the streaming giant, which was worth about $50 to $100 million.
Hence, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle no longer needed to receive money from Prince Charles’ Duchy of Cornwall estate.
