Meghan Markle let Prince Harry take control of their decision to step down as senior royals that eventually make their relationship “stronger than ever.”
Omid Scobie, the co-author of the controversial biography Finding Freedom, revealed Prince Harry was the one who decided on their plan to leave the monarchy. Thanks to Meghan Markle, she let him have the confidence to do so.
A trial that made the Sussexes stronger
In an interview with OK! Magazine, Scobie believed Meghan never turned back when she wanted to do something.
If her husband only said that they would remain in the monarchy for another year, the Duchess of Sussex would surely obey.
“Meghan would have definitely ridden it out longer if he’d wanted to,” he said.
Scobie continued the Duke of Sussex “very much drove the decision” to leave the monarchy. But, she gave him the “confidence to see that decision through.”
In the book, Scobie and his co-author Carolyn Durand claimed Meghan told a friend that she “gave up her entire life” to be a royal. Despite the complaint, she was willing to do it whatever it would take.
These things had made Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship stronger.
“Now they’re stronger than ever because of what they’ve experienced,” Scobie revealed. “I think their love for each other grows the more they take on.”

Meghan praised Prince Harry for being a feminist
Meanwhile, aside from the love, Prince Harry got Meghan’s praises for being a feminist like her, Us Weekly noted.
The former actress had a talk with Gloria Steinem in a QandA for Makers Women. Meghan revealed someone could be a feminist, masculine, and a guy like her husband.
“I love that when he just came in, he said, ‘You know that I’m a feminist too,'” the 39-year-old said.
Steinem, alternatively, agreed on Prince Harry’s revelation that being a feminist is “wonderful.”
Meghan wished that Prince Harry’s effort to be a champion for women and the feminist movement would be passed on to their son, Archie.
“I look at our son and what a beautiful example that he gets to grow up with a father who is so comfortable owning that as part of his own self-identification,” she explained. “That there’s no shame in being someone who advocates for fundamental human rights for everyone, which of course, includes women.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle now reside in their home in Santa Barbara with their kid.
