It will take a little while before Prince Harry and Prince William return on good terms as they still barely speak to each other.
Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie revealed Prince William and Prince Harry had yet to return to speaking terms after the royal exit.
Allegedly, the Duke of Cambridge was upset when the Sussexes announced their decision to step down as senior royals.
The distance between Prince Harry, Prince William
In his appearance on True Royalty TV, Scobie revealed the gap between the royal brothers “grew wider and wider.”

According to the London-based writer, Prince William and Prince Harry didn’t have the chance to discuss the statements about the issue internally.
“That’s really what caused the most amount of hurt to William because he wears two hats,” he explained. “He’s not just the brother; he’s also the future king.”
Scobie continued Kate Middleton’s husband felt Megxit had damaged the Royal Family’s reputation. It also put the private family matter out in public when they could’ve discussed it privately instead.
“There was a lot of hurt there that continues to this day,” he continued.

The first issue that ruined the royal brothers’ relationship
In Finding Freedom, Scobie and co-author, Carolyn Durand, revealed the royal brothers’ relationship was first ruined when Prince William questioned Prince Harry’s decision to be with Meghan Markle.
Since then, the Duke of Sussex spent less time with his older sibling, sister-in-law, and even their three kids.
Prince Harry even confirmed their rift in the controversial ITV documentary, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.
“We’re certainly on different paths at the moment,” he said. “But I’ll always be there for him, and as I know, he’ll always be there for me.”
Prince Harry acknowledged that they would always be brothers. Although they didn’t see each other that much because they were both busy, he couldn’t deny that he loved Prince William so dearly.
“You have good days; you have bad days,” he admitted.
An improved relationship for their father
Vanity Fair reported the relationship between Prince Harry and Prince William improved in March after Prince Charles contracted COVID-19.
“That’s when they eventually put their own troubles to one side,” the source said. “And got in touch with each other and started talking on the phone.”
At the time, they were both anxious about their father, so Prince Harry picked up Prince William’s call. From here, they, allegedly, started speaking again.
