Prince Harry reportedly preparing for a big UK return

Prince Harry is now, reportedly, preparing for his big return to the U.K. for an important upcoming event.

A royal commentator revealed Prince Harry is now gunning for a return home next year to attend a special event that is “near and dear” to him.

The plan for Prince Harry’s significant return

Prince Harry and Meghan originally planned to divide their time between Canada and the U.K.

However, things seemed to be out of hand for the two since the coronavirus outbreak began.

In an episode of the ITV Royal Rota podcast, Lizzie Robinson talked about the Duke of Sussex’s possible return home.

“Harry said himself that they would have come over had it not been for COVID,” she said, via Express. “And they would have been using it.”

“Presumably, he is coming over to Europe for next year’s Invictus Games,” she continued. “They’re still going ahead in the Hague in the Netherlands.

Fans could expect to see Prince Harry there, although it remained to be seen if it would push through.

The father-of-one had planned to return to the U.K. to attend the Rugby League World Cup.

As the sports patron, he told its players, coaches, and volunteers about his plan.

“We’ve got a whole Rugby League World Cup coming next year, so I definitely plan on coming back,” he said. “I would have been back already had it not been for COVID.”

Prince Harry, Meghan’s original plan before the pandemic

Meanwhile, the COVID-19 plague had affected Prince Harry and Meghan’s plan to go back and forth to the U.K. and Canada.

The coronavirus makes international travel all the more difficult today due to the fears of spreading the virus.

Before the borders officially shut down, the couple and their son, Archie, moved to Los Angeles, Daily Star noted. This way, Meghan is closer to her mom, Doria Ragland, and some entertainment business friends.

They are now living in California, where they are spending most of their time amid the pandemic.

The royals used to live in Tyler Perry’s mansion in Beverly Hills before they bought their $14.65-million home in Montecito.

They joined the slew of celebrities living on the seaside Santa Barbara County enclave, famous for being the home of the Hollywood stars.

Anyhow, Frogmore Cottage will remain their home in the U.K. as part of the Megxit deal. They recently paid the taxpayers’ money, worth £2.4 million, used for the renovation cost of their property.

This move is also part of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s deal with Sandringham.
