Prince Harry wants to keep his license as an Apache helicopter pilot because he wants to return to military service if his marriage with Meghan Markle fails to work, according to a tabloid.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been married for two years already. The couple seems in love and happy. But one outlet speculates that the duke is preparing to return to his career if his marriage heads south.
Prince Harry allegedly preparing to return to military service
Woman’s Day published a report claiming that Prince Harry has joined a helicopter club in California. Prince William’s younger brother allegedly did it because he wanted to keep the license he gained in the army. He was “keeping up his training in case things go south with Meghan,” one source claimed.
The anonymous source continued saying that Prince Harry wanted to return to the military service, and the move was his way to keep the door open. The Duke of Sussex has always wanted to be in the military service and work with recruits, the bogus source added.

Military return rumor debunked
Gossip Cop debunked the rumor because Prince Harry hasn’t shown signs that he will return to the military. The duke left it after 10 years of service. He admitted it was a tough decision, but the experience would stay with him for the rest of his life.
Also, Prince Harry is already married with a baby. He is busy with his philanthropic works. In fact, he has just signed a deal with Netflix as a producer. He has a lot on his plate and has never expressed a desire to re-enlist.
Gossip Cop believed that the story was a spin from a report published from The Sun. The British tabloid claimed that Prince Harry wanted to keep his hours up to keep his license.
However, even the story itself quoted a pal of Prince Harry saying otherwise.
“He’s hardly likely to be recalled for military service in England again but he wants to keep the hours up for personal use,” the report read.
The rumor-debunking site added that The Sun is not the most reputable source. But even in its report, it never claimed Prince Harry was planning to return to the military.
Sussexes allegedly felt sidelined
In related news, according to royal expert Russell Myers, the Sussexes were upset, and they felt sidelined during the Queen’s Christmas speech in 2019. Many noticed that there was no photo of them on Her Majesty’s desk.
Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand’s book Finding Freedom also covered the same topic. The authors also alleged that Prince Harry and Markle were disheartened that there were no photos of them on her desk.
“Harry felt as though he and Meghan had long been sidelined by the institution and were not a fundamental part of its future,” the book read.
The sight reportedly made the couple think of their future in the monarchy.
Meanwhile, royal expert Katie Nicholl explained that the pictures didn’t include the Sussexes because they were way down the line of succession. It only featured Prince Charles and Prince William’s family because they are direct successors.
