Prince Philip is said to be very disappointed by Meghan Markle and her failure to safeguard the royal family amid the trying times.
The Megxit did not end everything as it ignited more frustrations to Prince Philip.
It has already been months since Meghan Markle stepped down as a senior royal member with Prince Harry.
However, a royal expert revealed that Philip still feels disappointed by how the duchess left the royal family hanging.
Royal biographer Ingrid Seward recently revealed that Philip feels irritated by how Prince Harry did not ultimately do his duties.
She further explained that the Duke of Edinburgh even gave up his naval career just to support Queen Elizabeth II.
The statement will be included in her new book Prince Philip Revealed.
“I think he’s very, very disappointed because I think he feels he gave up his naval career in order to stand by the Queen and help the monarchy,” Seward first told Sky News on Wednesday. “And why can’t Meghan just give up her acting career, support her husband and support the monarchy?”
She further recalled how Prince Philip would always tell Princess Diana that being a royal is not a popularity contest. Instead, it is about how they work together.

Prince Philip disappointed toward younger Royals?
Following her Sky News appearance, Seward further detailed the claims in an interview with The Mail on Sunday.
Per the royal author, the Duke of Edinburgh mourns as the younger members of the royal family do everything differently. Prince Philip also reportedly said that they do not appear to have the same values as he has.
What he feels about Prince Harry
“He has struggled greatly, for example, with what he sees as his grandson Harry’s dereliction of duty, giving up his homeland and everything he cared about for a life of a self-centered celebrity in North America,” she disclosed.
Prince Harry, specifically, pushed through Megxit. That decision alone is something Prince Philip still cannot understand until now.
The Duke of Edinburgh still questions what made his life so unbearable.
For Philip, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle already had everything when they were still senior royal members.
Often, Prince Harry is being compared to Edward VIII, who gave up his throne to marry Wallis Simpson and relocate to the U.S.
But no matter what happens now, it seems like Prince Harry will continue doing what he started — without the royal family.
