Prince Philip frail, dying and bedridden at Windsor Castle: Rumor

Prince Philip doesn’t, allegedly, have much time to live.

According to Star, Prince Philip has been bed-ridden in the palace throughout the past couple of months.

A source also told the tabloid that Queen Elizabeth’s husband of over 70 years is frail and dying. And they are, allegedly, planning his funeral.

“Word is, it would be a miracle for him to make it to his 100th birthday in June. Preparations are being made using code names to avoid details being leaked,” the source said.

Prince Philip wants a simple funeral

Before Prince Philip became frail, he, allegedly, told his family that he doesn’t want a massive funeral. Rather, he wants to have a service that’s low-key.

According to the tabloid, the Duke of Edinburgh won’t be buried at Westminster Abbey. Instead, he would be laid to rest in Frogmore Cottage’s garden in Windsor Castle.

Prince Andrew, Prince Harry not invited to his funeral

When it comes to the guests, the royal family won’t, allegedly, invite a big group of people.

“Only a select few will be invited as large gatherings are banned right now because of COVID,” the source said.

Prince Charles, Camila Parker Bowles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton will all attend his funeral. However, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson won’t be there since the former is, allegedly, regarded as a disgrace to the royal family.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t also attend the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral due to two reasons.

“Philip hasn’t forgiven Harry for leaving the royal family and feels it was the weak thing to do. And in light of current travel restrictions, Harry and Meghan would have to quarantine for 10 days, so they wouldn’t make it in time for the funeral,” the source said.

Queen Elizabeth can’t take the thought of Prince Philip dying

As for the queen, she’s, allegedly, heartbroken over the thought of losing her husband.

“She wants to spend the little time Philip has left with him,” the source said.

Luckily, the royal couple has been holed up at Windsor Castle throughout the past couple of months since the pandemic started.

Following Prince Philip’s death, there is, allegedly, an expectation for the queen to also retire from her royal duties. Prince Charles, allegedly, hopes his mom would step aside so he could become king.
